In light of the exceptional situation we are living through due to the COVID-19 crisis, and given the possibility of the LaLiga season being extended beyond 30th June, Real Oviedo has reached a collective agreement with the players and members of the coaching staff who were due to finish their contract on that date.
As a result, Alfonso Herrero, Grippo, Coris, Rodri, Saúl Berjón, Champagne, Ibra, Christian Fernández and Lolo González, as well as Cuco Ziganda and Bingen Aróstegi, have prolonged their ties to Los Azules, signing contract extensions up until the end of the season, in the case of it being played out.
The club thanks them all for their willingness and for the manner in which, ever since the season was paused, common sense and the generosity of all
parties have prevailed, allowing us to overcome the situations which have arisen since the start of this health crisis in the best way possible.
