Real Oviedo has reached an agreement to sign defender David Costas on a three-year deal.
David Costas is 26 years old and was born on 26th March 1995, in Chapela (Redondela). The Galician came through the youth ranks at Chapela, departing in the Alevín age category to join Celta de Vigo. He would make his First Division debut with Celta at the age of 18. He got game-time at Celta, and worked his way into the first-team picture during his first two seasons at the club. He then went out on loan to RCD Mallorca, before eventually arriving at Real Oviedo for the first time, on loan, in the 2016/17 January transfer window. He played a total of 19 matches for Los Carbayones in LaLiga SmartBank, scoring three goals. The Galician later represented Barcelona B and UD Almería.
