Real Oviedo has come to an agreement to contract the services of attacking midfielder Diego Fabbrini, via a loan, for the next season.
The 26-year old player was born on 31 July, 1990 in San Giuliano Terme, Italy. He made his debut at 19 years of age with Empoli FC, where he played for two seasons in a total of 60 games, scoring three goals. In 2011 he joined the ranks of Udinese, where he remained until 2013 and where he made his Italian Serie A debut, playing a total of 36 matches and scoring three goals. Later that year, Fabrinni signed for Unione Sportiva Città di Palermo and then went on to play in England, where he has dressed for Watford, Millwall, Middlesbrough and Birmingham, the club he is on loan from.
Fabbrini played with the Italian national team in one occasion, featuring with "La Azzurra" on 15 August, 2012 in a friendly match against England.
Diego Fabrinni arrives on loan from Birmingham and is an attacking midfielder known for his skill and expansive career experience as a 26-year old.
The player will join the training sessions immediately, having passed therequired medical exams this morning at the Clínica Asturias. He will work under the directions of Juan Antonio Anquela starting this afternoon, so as to be ready and at the coach's disposal when the season begins.
