Real Oviedo defender, Diegui Johannesson, appeared in the Press Room this morning following the team’s training session at El Requexón.
Diegui began by admitting that “the changing room is affected because of the defeat. It’s normal. Real Valladolid were better than us and deserved to win. We knew that it would be a difficult match. They were superior in all areas, and now all we can do is keep working and get the three points in Soria.”
With six games still to come, the Asturian defender said that, “there is no other option than to fight. That’s what the Coach told us in the changing room. We need to fight to the end, and we will still be up there. We can still achieve anything.”
Asked about what the team has to improve, Johannesson explained that, “I think the team is competing even if things didn’t work out yesterday. We had recovered the good atmosphere, and we hope that things start going well for us again next week. There is no other option than to work hard. There are six finals remaining and we have to try to win all six,” he concluded.
