The Hotel Silken Monumental Naranco hosted the official presentation of Daniel Paraschiv, Real Oviedo’s latest signing this Tuesday. Accompanied by Real Oviedo’s Director of Football Roberto Suárez and Managing Director Agustín Lleida, the Romanian striker addressed the media and stated that “Real Oviedo is a great club and coming here is a big step in my career”.
When asked about the club and the city, Paraschiv pointed out that “I knew about the city and the team because I knew that Marius Lăcătuș played here. He’s not only a legend but is also from my city. I am proud to follow in his footsteps”.
Regarding his first impressions of his new teammates and the coaching staff, Real Oviedo’s new forward said that “the teammates have been friendly to me and are helping me to adapt. The training sessions are very intense, and I like that because that’s what good football is all about. Even in the first training session I saw the difference between the football here and the football in Romania. Everything is very fast and very intense, and I like that”.
Following the presentation, the player will return to training with his teammates at El Requexón this afternoon.
