Real Oviedo this afternoon hosted the Gold and Platinum Insignia Award Ceremony, for season-ticket holders that are celebrating fifty and seventy-five consecutive years of club membership this season.
The ceremony, complete with Spanish wine and the presentation of the special pin badges, took place in the VIP area at the Carlos Tartiere. Forty-one ‘Oviedistas’ that have reached a half century of annually renewing their season tickets were in attendance. We would also like to give special recognition to the three Platinum club members that have reached 75 years of loyalty to Real Oviedo: Jose R. García Álvarez, Manuel Menéndez Martínez and Ramón Arenas Álvarez.
The ceremony was led by the club’s President, Jorge Menéndez Vallina, Vice President Manuel Paredes, Spokesman for the Board of Directors Fernando Corral, and Head of Institutional Relations César Martín.
