Preseason Gets Underway for Real Oviedo Vetusta

The B team returned to training on Thursday and completed the first session of the 2024/25 season at the 'Tensi' sports facilities

Back to work. Real Oviedo Vetusta returned to training this Thursday and completed the first session of the 2024/2025 pre-season under Roberto Aguirre and his coaching staff, which is made up of Ángel Fernández (Assistant Coach), Jorge Tejada (Fitness Coach), Mauro de Ves (Goalkeeping Coach), Esteban Corral (Physiotherapist), Alfonso Velasco (Analyst), Daniela Peláez (Psychologist), Miguel Aparcio (Kit Man), and Miguel Partida (Player Delegate).
 
Diego Tejón, Joaquín Delgado, and Guillermo Castrillejo, and the new signings from this transfer window, were the main additions today and trained with the rest of the squad as well as the new players who played for the Juvenil team last season: Pelayo García, Vicente Antuña, Cheli, Óscar de la Hera, Adri Fernández, Marcos Lopes, Adri Lopes, Jaimes Coballes, Mateo Vallina, Pedro Álvarez, Martín, Pablo Agudín, and Enzo Pérez.
 
Thursday’s afternoon session, which was held at 18:00 at Tensi, included physical training and various exercises with the ball. In addition, Managing Director Agustín Lleida and Director of Football Roberto Suárez accompanied the B team at this first training session. They chatted with the squad before the start of the session and gave the players their feedback and the goals for this season.
 
There will be another training session at Tensi tomorrow at 18:00.
