Anduva was the setting for Real Oviedo's first away match of the 2020/21 season, with the game ending in a 1-1 draw.
The Asturians emerged for the second LaLiga matchday with the same starting
eleven as in the previous match. Los Azules created more than their opponent in the first half, threatening Limones' net. The most controversial incident of the first half saw Sangalli fall inside the box and the referee blow for a penalty, before being overruled by VAR. Borja had a good headed opportunity to open the scoring, but the half ended with the score 0-0.
The second half was marked by the deluge of rain over Anduva, and Mirandés struck first in the early stages after the interval. Ziganda's side tried to take control of the play, but found it very difficult to find a way
through the home defence and threaten Limones in the Mirandés goal. Nahuel came on for his Real Oviedo debut. The Asturians kept trying, and eventually got their reward in the final minutes with a Sangalli goal.
Real Oviedo will have another chance to get a win next time out, when the side faces Espanyol at the NMR Carlos Tartiere.
