Real Oviedo have reached an agreement for centre back Jaime Vázquez to join Real Club Celta de Vigo on loan until the end of the season.
The defender has extended his Real Oviedo contract until 30th June 2027 before joining the Celta de Vigo B team in the 1ªRFEF division, as he seeks to continue progressing as a footballer.
Jaime Vázquez arrived at Real Oviedo in summer 2023 with the idea of joining up with the club's División de Honor Under-19s, but he quickly became a permanent member of the B team.
The Asturian is now a regular with the first team, having made his LaLiga debut in the 1-1 draw with Amorebieta in January 2024. He has now accumulated 493 minutes in the Segunda División.
