Real Oviedo has reached an agreement with Villarreal CF which sees the Asturians sign striker Álex Millán on a two-year contract.
Alejandro Millán Iranzo is 23 years old and was born on 7th November 1999 in Zaragoza. The striker progressed in Aragon, forming part of Real Zaragoza's academy, before joining Villarreal CF as an Under-19. The forward made his way through the youth ranks at Villarreal, with his fine record earning him a chance with the first team. He made his first-team debut in a Copa del Rey match against SD Leioa on 16th December 2020, before making his first-division debut against CA Osasuna.
A loan move to Cercle Brugge during the first half of the 2021/22 season would bring 20 goals, before he moved on to Royale Union Saint-Gilloise on loan. He began the 2022/23 season on loan with Portuguese side Famalicão, before representing Villarreal's B team and scoring 4 goals in 20 matches in LaLiga SmartBank.
Álex Millán has also represented Spain's Under-17s, Under-18s, and Under-19s.
