Real Oviedo Captain Santi Cazorla was today presented with the award for October's 'Jugador 5 Estrellas Mahou' Player of the Month. His spectacular captaincy of the team in recent weeks saw him win the fan vote for the prize. The midfielder highlighted that "I'm living a dream", stating that "I am here to help the club in any way I can and with anything that they ask my opinion on."
Having also won the award in February, this is the second time that Cazorla has received the recognition. The winner is selected each month by the Oviedistas, who choose between the five candidates nominated by the beer company on their profile on X. This morning's prize was presented by Rogelio García Iglesias, from Chelsea Café, thanks to this intiative which the brands uses to promote encounters between fans.
