Real Oviedo has reached an agreement to sign defender Dani Calvo on a deal for the next two seasons, with another year subject to the completion of objectives.
Dani Calvo is 27 years old and was born on 1st April 1994 in Huesca. The defender, who arrives on a free transfer after terminating his contract with Elche CF, came through the youth ranks at CD Numancia. He played for UD Levante's B team, Numancia, and Elche CF, accumulating a total of 129 matches in LaLiga SmartBank and more than 20 matches in LaLiga Santander. He has played in five playoff matches for promotion to LaLiga Santander, first with CD Numancia and then with Elche CF, securing promotion to the First Division with the latter.
Dani Calvo stands out thanks to his dominance, aerial strength, ability when bringing the ball out from the back, and quality in defensive one-on-ones.
