Real Oviedo welcomed SD Huesca to the Tartiere today for Matchday 17 in LaLiga Hypermotion. The Asturians went into the encounter attempting to get back to winning ways and put defeat in Elche behind them. Javi Calleja opted for a starting eleven made up of Aarón Escandell, Oier Luengo, Dani Calvo, Costas, Rahim, Colombatto, Seoane, Cazorla, Sebas Moyano, Hassan, and Alemão.
The match did not start well for Los Carbayones. Within the opening minutes Sergi Enrich capitalised on the opportunity to give his side the lead. Alemão looked to level as quickly as possible, but after finding himself in his good position his shot somehow went over the bar. After some fine individual play down the right wing Hassan also tried his luck, but his effort went well wide.
The second half could not have got off to much worse of a start, with Enrich grabbing his second and making it 2-0. Paraschiv, Viñas, and Chaira came on, but things remained the same. Oier struck the post in the 56th minute before Chaira's header hit the bar, before Joaquín Muñoz added a third for the visitors in the 81st minute.
This was a poor performance from Real Oviedo, who will look to bounce back against Racing de Ferrol next time out.
