Real Oviedo has reached an agreement with Real Betis to sign midfielder Edgar González on a loan deal until 30th June 2021.
Edgar González Estrada is 23 years old and arrives from Real Betis, whose first team he represented 14 times last season. The midfielder came through the youth team at Cornellá, before signing for RCD Espanyol in 2015/16 and representing the Catalan club's Juvenil side. The Catalan midfielder moved up to Espanyol's B team, and was loaned to Cornellá, alternating between the two teams for two seasons. Edgar joined Real Betis for the 2018/19 season, adapting quickly and breaking into the first-team squad. The midfielder made his first-team debut for the Andalusian side ina cup match against Racing de Santander at El Sardinero.
