Real Oviedo and Valencia CF have reached an agreement for the loan of midfielder Koba Koindredi, with the deal running until June 2023.
Koba Leïn Koindredi is 20 years old and was born on 27th October 2001 in Païta, Djibouti. He developed in French football, joining RC Lens in 2017 after a successful trial. He would move on to Valencia CF for the 2018/19 season, where he initially joined up with the Under-19 side but quickly began to alternate with training with Valencia Mestalla. Koba's growth with Valencia's academy was exponential, featuring in the UEFA Youth League as well as in first-team preseason and training sessions. He made his competitive first-team debut on 16th December 2020, in a Copa del Rey first round tie against Terrasa. His LaLiga debut arrived on 30th December 2021, when he faced Granada CF at El Nuevo Los Cármenes. Koba Koindredi played 13 matches for Valencia CF last season, 10 of them in LaLiga Santander and 3 in the cup. The midfielder is also a regular with France's youth teams, with whom he has accumulated 22 matches and scored 2 goals.
