Real Oviedo has reached an agreement for Luis Carrión to become the new first-team head coach, signing a deal until June 2024.
Luis Miguel Carrión Delgado is 44 years old and was born on 7th February 1979 in Barcelona. After a playing career which saw him represent Nàstic de Tarragona, Córdoba, Deportivo Alavés, and the FC Barcelona academy, the Catalan began his coaching career with Espanyol Femenino. He later coached Córdoba, Melilla, Numancia, and Cartagena, accumulating experience in the Second Division.
The new Head Coach will lead his first training session at El Requexón at 10:30, accompanied by his assistant Domingo Cisma. He will be presented after the workout, with the press conference beginning at 13:30 in the Press Room at the Carlos Tartiere. Luis Carrión will not make any comments until the moment of his official presentation.
