Real Oviedo midfielder and youth-team graduate, Miguel Ángel Prendes Pérez "Mangel" this afternoon sealed the contract extension which will tie him to Los Carbayones until June 2026.
The player, who was born in Candás on 28th June 2001, joined Los Azules in summer 2021 to strengthen the B team. Mangel achieved promotion to the Segunda RFEF with Real Oviedo Vetusta last season, having made his debut with the first team on 10th January 2022. This season he has become a regular first-team player.
This agreement sees Real Oviedo maintain their firm backing for the academy and for footballers formed at El Requexón.
