New heat lamps will be put in place as part of work to improve the pitch at the NMR Carlos Tartiere, which has been affected by the harsh weather conditions which have struck the Principality of Asturias in recent months.
The sodium lamps, which are now waiting outside the stadium, will be installed today, following work to refit the electrical structure of the ground. These new lights will join the four carts of LED lights which have been used on the pitch at the NMR Carlos Tartiere since 2019.
The eight carts are of the MU360 model, and have been acquired by the club on a 4-year loan. They will be made available to Jarpa, the company responsible for maintaining the pitch at Real Oviedo's stadium.
