This afternoon, Real Oviedo and Adidas presented the official kits for the 2017-2018 season. The first design (blue, white, and orange) and the second kit (in black and white) are now available in our official stores, at the same prices as the previous season.
The spokesperson for the Board of Directors, Fernando Corral, was accompanied by Roberto Manso, Adidas Area Director, and explained that "the intention was to present the jerseys last Friday, but arrangements were still being made with a primary sponsor. We postponed the presentation as a result, but there still isn't an agreement for the signature that will be one the front of the shirt. As soon as the agreement has been reached, it will be made public. This year there will be the option to buy the jersey without the advertising, or with it". He went on to add that " we have worked intensely with Adidas within the strategy that the brand implements for professional clubs, which entails selling two kits, with a third that will not be available for sale. There will be a third jersey, which will be presented later, but it will only be used in competition. The first design, which uses the color orange, brings to mind good memories of the last promotion, and we hope that in this case it makes history again".
The representative went on to explain the consolidation of the commercial structure of the organization in recent times, "making the leap to sell Real Oviedo products outside of our borders, and placing official merchandise points closer to fans. We currently have one hundred, and the goal is to reach three hundred. Additionally, we will shortly announce a new project, related to kids, that will soon see the light and will reflect the work that is being done in the commercialization and sale of products". The sales, which have been very high in the past months, have multiplied the total number of invoices by three and have placed us at the top of the rankings for kit sales in Spain.
