The Directors' Box at the Carlos Tartiere today hosted the official presentation of Santiago Colombatto as a new Real Oviedo player. The Argentinian was accompanied by Managing Director Agustín Lleida and Director of Football Roberto Suárez as he addressed the media.
"I am very happy to be here. Real Oviedo is a historic club and I hope to have a great year. I generally play in central midfield. I am coming here to contribute wherever I am asked to play, and I know what this club's ambitions are."
"I've not spoken to the coach much yet. I am always going to fight to the end, and you will never see me give up. Effort, commitment, and giving my best for the team; that is what I'm going to contribute."
Following the midfielder's words, Director of Football Roberto Suárez took to the microphone, saying that "the squad is practically closed and now we are focused on departures. All the players know what their situation and their role is."
Finally, Managing Director Agustín Lleida was asked about the team's results at the start of this season. "It's not the start that we had been expecting. We had a good preseason, but this is the Second Division".
