Real Oviedo has reached an agreement to sign goalkeeper Tomeu Nadal on a two-year contract.
The 32-year-old goalkeeper was born in Manacor on 8th February 1989. He came through the youth teams at RCD Mallorca, before moving on to Getafe B and Nàstic de Tarragona. He signed for Albacete for the 2016/17 campaign, and played a total of 152 matches in the Second Division, including playoff matches in 2018/19. He also played in playoffs for promotion to the Second Division on several occasions, achieving promotion in 2014/15 with Nàstic de Tarragona and in 2016/17 with Albacete Balompié.
Tomeu Nadal stands out thanks to his good positioning, consistency, and experience in the division, as well as his ability in one-on-ones.

Tomeu Nadal will begin first-team training in the coming hours, after passing the necessary medical tests at Clínica Asturias. His official presentation will be held at 13:00 this Friday in the Press Room at the Carlos Tartiere.
