Real Oviedo striker Fede Viñas has been called up by Uruguay for the upcoming two international fixtures. His nation will face Argentina on 22nd March, before playing Bolivia on 25th March. Both matches form part of the South American qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, to be held in the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
These matches will see Viñas have the chance to continue to build his international experience, with two encounters which are crucial to Uruguay's qualification hopes. The country currently sits second in its group, with 20 points.
The forward will join up with the national squad this Sunday, staying with them until 27th March.
