We had to win, and we won. Today's 2-1 away win against Ibiza was an important one, not only in order to maintain our good run of form, but also to move us closer to 50 points.

For today's match at El Municipal de Can Misses, Álvaro Cervera opted for a starting eleven made up of Quentin Braat, Lucas Ahijado, David Costas, Dani Calvo, Abel Bretones; Vito, Camarasa, Luismi, Hugo Rama; Borja Sánchez and Sergi Enrich. The team went into the match with the aim and confidence that they would pick up a third consecutive victory.

Neither side was clearly on top during the first half, with both teams enjoying spells of domination, and both defences solid and well-organised. Ibiza got forward more, but it was the Asturians who would eventually make the breakthrough. A fine run from Lucas down the right wing would see him play a ball into the box, and Sergi Enrich got in front of the defender to steer the ball home. The home team did not let their heads drop, and went in search of an equaliser which would eventually arrive in the 31st minute when Grillo headed home from a corner. The first half came to an end with the two teams sharing possession.

After the interval Cervera brought on Manu Vallejo in place of Hugo Rama, just before Los Azules took the lead once more. Some fine individual play from Sergi Enrich ended in the forward firing home from outside the area to add his second of the match. Luengo then came on in place of David Costas. The final ten minutes saw a series of chances, but no further goals. Álvaro Cervera turned to Moro, Pomares, and Masca from the bench, and the Portuguese striker converted what would have been the third goal, but VAR decided to rule the goal out for offside. Ibiza had several opportunities, but the home defence stood strong.

Today saw a third consecutive victory for Álvaro Cervera's side, moving them up to 49 points. Los Azules will face SD Ponferradina at the Carlos Tartiere next time out.
