Aiming to combine sports and a social environment, Real Oviedo developed activities within the Social and Sport Projects Area. An area in which the integration of Real Oviedo Genuine players into the workforce is a key factor, giving value to people with functional disabilities. These activities are carried out by our players under the supervision of our coaches.

Sports without Limits. An activity directed to schools in the city with a percentage of students at risk of social exclusion.

We have visited C.P. Pablo Miaja, C.P. San Pedro de los Arcos, C.P. Jaime Borras, Sagrada Familia School, C.E.E. Latores, and the Down Syndrome Association of Asturias (Oviedo headquarters). During this academic year, more than 600 students have enjoyed sessions in rotating shifts that aim to reinforce the values that we at the Real Oviedo Foundation try to transmit in all our activities.

More than Capable. An activity used to teach the children of Oviedo about the differing abilities of those with disabilities.

The activity 'Sobradamente Capacitados' is carried out in the facilities of Fundoma and this season 11 schools in the city of Oviedo have participated and learned about the barriers that people with different disabilities face in their daily lives and sports.

Sports for all Ages. The objective of this activity is to keep those of our community who are older in shape, but above all allow them to socialise in an environment linked to sports.

For the third consecutive season, we continue to take care of our season-ticket holders and supporters over 69 years old, maintaining two weekly sessions of physical activities led by our technicians in the Fundoma facilities.

Genuine and Social Campuses. An activity aimed at people with functional diversity and a campus for sponsored children at risk of social exclusion.

For another summer, the Real Oviedo Foundation, with 30 vacancies, carries out this project within the Campus Real Oviedo Salus, which includes two weeks at the Campus Inclusivo Genuine for people with functional disabilities and one week at the Campus Social for children with scholarships from an association that works with children at risk of social exclusion.

UFD Student Mobility Programme. An activated specifically for students of the Universidad del Fútbol y del Deporte.

We continue to actively collaborate with the Universidad del Fútbol y del Deporte with our mobility program. During the 2023-34 academic year we opened two internship periods, in October and April, during which we have received 30 students specialising in communication sciences, physical education, master of sports sciences, physical therapy, master of kinesiology and physiotherapy, and sports medicine.

Sport Programme at the UTE Penitentiary Centre of Villabona. An activity intended for inmates of the penitentiary centre of Asturias.

For another year, our sports program at the Villabona Penitentiary Centre has been enhanced, not only by implementing the biweekly training session but also by extending the activity to the development of friendly matches with users and other organisations related to the Real Oviedo Foundation. This season, the teams of the University of Oviedo (1st RFFPA), Valdesoto CF, combined coaches of Juventud Estadio, EFRO, and Peñistas de la APARO participated. The season ended with the visit of Dr. Gabriela Murguía and Cristina Islas, from the UFD.

In recognition of the work of the Real Oviedo Foundation, next season we will extend this activity to three other facilities, including the women’s facility, and the Sograndio Center for the Criminal Responsibility of Minors.

A year of social commitment, 365 days of shared Oviedismo.
