Dotor Signs For Real Oviedo

The midfielder joins on a loan deal from R.C. Celta de Vigo running until the end of the season

Real Oviedo has reached an agreement with Real Club Celta de Vigo for midfielder Carlos Dotor to join on a loan deal which will last until June 2025.
 
Dotor is 23 years old and was born on 15th March 2001 in Madrid. After progressing through the youth structure at Rayo Majadahonda, the player joined Real Madrid's academy in 2015. He made his debut for Real Madrid's B team in Segunda División B during the 2019/2020 season. That same season also saw him crowned champion of the UEFA Youth League with Real Madrid's Under-19s, under the management of Raúl González Blanco.
 
He spent several years with Real Madrid's B team, including a fine 2022/23 season, where he was a key man in the Castilla side that fought for promotion to the Segunda División. That campaign saw the midfielder play 2223 minutes, picking up 12 goals and 3 assists in the process.
 
His fine performances brought him to the attention of R.C. Celta de Vigo, who signed him for the 2023/24 season. While in Vigo, Dotor played a total of 881 minutes in 19 matches in the top flight.
