Real Oviedo winger Ilyas Chaira appeared in the Press Room ahead of this Wednesday's training session.
Having picked up three points against Burgos last time out, the attacker admitted that "we were coming off the back of a difficult week, but we got through it. We like winning at home, in front of our fans. Knowing how to pick ourselves back up after the first half gives extra value to the victory."
Asked about the strength that Real Oviedo is displaying at the Carlos Tartiere, the winger reasoned that "we are comfortable at home. We have to keep that going and get as many points as possible away from home."
Regarding how he is feeling on an individual level, Ilyas highlighted that "I am very happy. I feel good, and I feel as though the team is happy with me and I am happy with the team. Being able to help, to run, to attack, to defend... everything I can do to help is good. The Gaffer asks me to be myself and for my performance levels not to drop. At the end of the day, being able to help the team is the most important thing. I am happy to be able to contribute and help the team to win the three points."
Finally, ahead of the coming encounter with Albacete, Chaira explained that "we haven't done the video work yet, but we will study it now and analyse everything."
