Academia Ajuwa Real Oviedo was born in Lagos, Nigeria, in 2018, with the determination to offer more than 50 young people the necessary means to cover their needs and develop their footballing talent. Six years on the project is consolidated and continues to grow, hand-in-hand with Real Oviedo and its Foundation.

This past week has seen us travel to Africa once more for the Peace Cup Lagos Inter Bet, in which, although the result is not the most important thing, our school was crowned champion of a tournament which seeks to bring talented young players together.

Educational and social projects around the world are one of the Real Oviedo Foundation's objectives. We would like to once more thank the Spanish Consul in Lagos for the help they provide in carrying out said projects, thanks to which young people at risk of exclusion can enjoy the practice of football.

It is worth highlighting that players such as Chukwuma Eze, Victor Egboh, and Jordan Pereke emerged from the Academia Ajuwa Real Oviedo, and today play and show their talent for Real Oviedo's B team.
