Leo Román Signs for Real Oviedo

The goalkeeper joins the club on a season-long loan from RCD Mallorca

Real Oviedo have reached an agreement for goalkeeper Leo Román to join the club on loan from RCD Mallorca until June 2024.
 
Leonardo Román is 23 years old and was born on 6th July 2000 in Ibiza. Having come through the youth teams at SCR Peña Deportiva and Ibiza Sant Rafael FC, the keeper would sign for RCD Mallorca. He would make his first-division debut in a league match against Levante UD on 8th January 2022, and he has also been involved with various different age groups with the Spanish national team.
 
The goalkeeper is currently taking part in the Under-21 Euros with Spain in Georgia and Romania. He has been an ever-present in the squad lists for the friendlies and qualifying matches ahead of the tournament.
