Real Oviedo Head Coach Luis Carrión appeared in the Press Room at El Requexón this morning, addressing the gathered members of the media. "We have to put in a good performance in Santander. We want to keep moving up the table and our away form to be the same as our form at the Tartiere."
Following the midweek match against CD Castellón, the Asturians will be up against Racing de Santander, in what will undoubtedly be a difficult encounter. "We wanted to win in the cup. We lost, and it was a blow. I want us to react now, as soon as possible. They are a good team, but a win would move us onto 28 points and up towards the top of the table. We want to put in a good enough performance and we will fight to achieve it."
The Coach was also asked about the difficulty of picking up three points away from home. "We want to dominate every match, but sometimes you are not able to do so. We did it at times against Mirandés. It is difficult to put in such complete performances as we did against RCD Espanyol. We will look to dominate and make the Racing game go in the way we want it to."
