Real Oviedo has reached an agreement to sign midfielder Luismi on a two-year contract, with the option of another year subject to the completion of objectives.
Luis Miguel Sánchez Benitez, is 29 years old and was born on 5th May 1992 in Puerto Serrano, Cádiz. The midfielder began his career in Sevilla's academy, making his way up to the B team in 2011, before joining up with the first team in 2015/16. He later represented Nástic de Tarragona and Real Valladolid, before joining Real Oviedo on a loan deal during the 2020 January transfer window. He played a total of 19 LaLiga SmartBank matches for Los Azules, before moving on to Elche CF upon finishing his Real Valladolid contract.
The Andalusian is a midfielder whose personality and awareness stands out in the centre of the field, as well as his vision of play.
