Álvaro Cervera was officially presented as the new Real Oviedo Head Coach today in the Press Room at the Carlos Tartiere.
The new Head Coach was accompanied by Club President Martín Peláez and Managing Director Agustín Lleida for his first appearance before the media, and they began by taking the opportunity to praise the coach and to thank him for his willingness to accept Real Oviedo's proposal. "We are very grateful for Álvaro Cervera's confidence in us. He has had a successful career and it is an honour that he has chosen us. We are in very good hands," said the President. Agustín Lleida, meanwhile, admitted that "it's a big challenge, but you have all of our support, that of the club and of the fans. Your successes will be our successes."
Álvaro Cervera has declared his satisfaction at having signed up for the Real Oviedo project, highlighting that "we are lucky to be able to come to one of the teams where I think that I can do well. I know the team, and they are hoping for something good to happen. This Real Oviedo side has some of the things that the teams I normally train have. I want to see a winning team on Monday."
