An expedition from Los Azules, led by Club President Martín Peláez, was present at Oviedo Food Bank this lunchtime, as the club made a donation to support the tireless work done by this charitable organisation.
The products were purchased using money raised during the club's Christmas meal, in which a number of items donated by our club sponsors were raffled off, with all of the employees who form part of the great Real Oviedo family taking part.
Club President Martín Peláez, Vice President Manolo Paredes, Director Fernando Corral, Head of Institutional Relations and Director of the Real Oviedo Foundation César Martín, Club Ambassador Carlos Muñoz, and Head of Community Issues Miguel Sanz all helped and actively participated in serving food to those at the Oviedo Food Bank.
This initiative, which Jesús Martínez participated in last year, is another small demonstration of the importance of social work to Real Oviedo, and of the crucial nature of helping those in greatest need.
