Luis Miguel Sánchez, better known as 'Luismi', will not be continuing at Real Oviedo next season, after spending three consecutive campaigns with the club, as well as part of the 2019/2020 season on loan.
The player, who was born on 5th May 1992, arrived at the club on loan from Real Valladolid during the 2019/2020 season, before rejoining permanently from Elche in 2021/2022.
The midfielder played more than 100 matches for Los Carbayones, including 24 last season. The club would like to express its deep gratitude for Luismi's hard work and commitment during his time here, which he spent fighting with pride, courage, and determination to take Real Oviedo back to the top flight.
