Tito Blanco Named the New Real Oviedo Director of Football

Real Oviedo has reached an agreement for Vicente Blanco Sánchez 'Tito' to become the club's Director of Football for the next two seasons.
Born in Benidorm, Tito Blanco is 50 years old and arrives at Real Oviedo from Deportivo Alavés, where he had been part of the Sports Management department since August 2021.
Following a long playing career, the new Real Oviedo Director of Football worked for the Association for Spanish Footballers (AFE) between 2010 and 2016. He then became Head of the Sports Management structure at Levante UD, occupying the role between 2016 and 2019. He achieved promotion to the Primera División in his first campaign, before securing survival in the top flight in the 2017/18 and 2018/19 seasons. He was also Victor Font's nomination for Technical Secretary during the FC Barcelona Presidential campaign. In August 2021 Tito Blanco joined the Sports Management structure at Deportivo Alavés, from whom he now joins Real Oviedo.
The presentation of Tito Blanco as the new Real Oviedo Director of Football will take place from 11:00 this Thursday in the Press Room at the Carlos Tartiere.
