Two girls from Colegio Sagrada Familia del Entrego, Aitana Velasco, 11, and Sara Cuello, 12, have today donated a project about Real Oviedo in Asturian to the club. The piece of work was set as a task by teacher Vanesa Antolín Santirso, a loyal Oviedista. It is one example of the different acts being carried out in educational centres across Asturias to mark 'La Selmana de les Lletres Asturianas' (The Week of the Asturian Language).
As well as teaching in El Entrego, Vanesa also works at Colegio Dulce Nombre de Jesús school in Oviedo. She set her pupils several pieces of work about different topics related with our region, in order to promote and encourage the use of Asturian among the children. The piece of work produced by Aitana and Sara covers different aspects of the club, including the club song, the badge, the kit, and other interesting facts.
To mark the project, Real Oviedo invited Aitana, Sara, and Vanesa to visit the NMR Carlos Tartiere. The guests were taken on a tour of the ground, before donating their project to the club's museum.
