Real Oviedo is continuing preparations for Saturday's fixture against Real Sporting de Gijón, which forms part of Matchday 4 in LaLiga Hypermotion. The first Asturian derby of the campaign comes early in the season, and sees Real Oviedo looking to get back to winning ways and reward Oviedistas with a victory.
This morning's session began at 10:30 at El Requexón and saw the first-team squad complete an intense workout built around ball work. Prior to training, Dani Calvo had spoken to the gathered members of the media, declaring that "we will give it everything out on the pitch and do everything possible in order to win for all of the Oviedistas."
The team will go back to work tomorrow, starting another training session at 10:30.
