Real Oviedo and Chukwuma Eze have reached an agreement for the defender to extend his contract with the club until June 2028.
The Nigerian, who joined the club in 2021 from Collins Edwin Sports Club, is currently part of the Real Oviedo Vetusta squad, having arrived in Asturias thanks to the work of the Academia Ajuwa Real Oviedo in Nigeria. The centre back played his first match with the first team this preseason, featuring in one of the two Trofeo Teresa Herrera matches. He has also been in Javi Calleja's matchday squad in the league on several occasions.
Having spent the 2022/23 season on loan with CD Llanes, Chukwuma Eze spent the last campaign on loan at L'Entregu, enjoying a great year which saw the side narrowly miss out on promotion. Now, following his fine performances, the defender is a regular part of Roberto Aguirre's B-team side.
This contract renewal will see the player remain at the club for another four seasons.
