Real Oviedo and Marco Esteban have reached an agreement for the centre back to remain with the club until June 2028.
The Oviedo-born defender, who joined the academy from Astur CF in 2017, is a regular in Roberto Aguirre's starting eleven this season, having played 900 minutes over the course of ten league matches. After making his B-team debut in 2022/23, Marco Esteban played 27 matches and scored 1 goal in Segunda Federación last season. Last season also saw him fulfill his dream of making his first-team debut, in a 1-1 draw with SD Amorebieta at the Carlos Tartiere.
This renewal will see the club and the player continue side-by-side for many years to come.
