Kwasi Sibo Signs For Real Oviedo

The midfielder joins from SD Amorebieta on a two-year deal

Real Oviedo has agreed a deal for Kwasi Sibo to sign for the club on a contract running until June 2026.
 
Kwasi Sibo is 26 years old and was born on 24th June 1998 in Wa, Ghana. The midfielder joins Los Azules following two years with SD Amorebieta. After achieving promotion to the Segunda División in 2022/23, the player was a key man for the Basque side this season. He played 41 matches and a total of 3,143 minutes, scoring one goal.
 
The African midfielder came through the youth system at Cheetah FC, before signing for Armenian Premier Division side FC Urartu in September 2017. His performances in Europe prompted Watford to purchase him, before sending him on loan to KF Skënderbeu in Albania and UD Ibiza, with whom he would secure promotion to the Spanish second tier in 2020/2021.
 
Kwasi Sibo then played 32 matches and 1290 minutes in Primera Federación for Real Betis Balompié's B team, before moving on to SD Amorebieta.
