Real Oviedo has come to an agreement to contract the services of central midfielder Ramón Folch Frigola, “Ramón Folch”, for the next two seasons.
The 27-year old center midfielder was born on 4 Octuber, 1989 in Reus, and has had a long and successful career, dressing previously for FC Vilafranca, Cambrils, CF Amposta, UB Conquense and CF Reus Deportiu, the club he joins Real Oviedo from. In the past season, Folch featured in 39 games for a total of 3,510 minutes played, putting away four goals during that period.
Ramón Folch stands at 1.82 meters and is renowned for his high-quality play, excellent physical shape, and his vision. In his previous season at Reus, the "catalán" was one of the best passing players in the league, with 2,178 completed passes. He was also the second highest ranked player in terms of balls won, with 288, only one fewer than the league´s leader.
Folch will begin his pre-season on July 10, where he will meet his new teammates and work under the orders of Juan Antonio Anquela to be as ready as possible when the official season begins.

Ramón Folch´s official presentation as the newest Real Oviedo Player will take place enxt Thursday, 6 July, at 13:30 in the Carlos Tartiere, after medical exams are completed.
The central midfielder will not make any declarations until his official presentation.
