Real Oviedo captain Saúl Berjón this morning underwent an arthroscopic procedure on his left knee.
Having had several weeks of cautious treatment and seen that the pain was not subsiding satisfactorily, the decision was taken to do an arthroscopy to ease the intraarticular inflammation on the back of his knee. The procedure was carried out today in Madrid by Doctor Pedro Guillén and his team, at the Clínica Cemtro de Madrid.
The player is now waiting to see how the injury develops.
