Real Oviedo and B-team captain Lucas Laso have now parted ways, and the defender will not be with the club this season. Having joined the Asturian club in the summer of 2019, the centre back achieved promotion to Segunda RFEF with the B team during the 2021/2022 season, playing a total of 60 matches in three seasons with Real Oviedo Vetusta.
