Francisco Mascarenhas has this evening become Real Oviedo Vetusta's latest signing for the 2022/23 season.
The Portuguese forward is 22 years old. He predominantly plays as a striker, although he is also versatile enough to play as a winger. He joins the club from Portimonense Under-23s, who he represented last season in Liga Revelaçao, playing 20 matches and scoring 10 goals. Francisco Mascarenhas came through in Portuguese youth-team football, also playing for Estoril.
The striker will begin work under Jaime Álvarez in the coming days, as the B team prepares to start the new league campaign on 3rd September.
