One of Real Oviedo's objectives is to construct a dynamic relationship with its international shareholders through the Foundation, with its captain Pelayo Novo playing an important role.
With an informal meet-up in Nottingham providing a first contact with them, Dave Riley and Álvaro Ornia got to know about the Global Oviedistas project. In the same way that we shouted Proud of You a while ago, to this day we remain very proud of our supporters outside of Spain, keeping them up to date with news and responding to their questions.
Pelayo Novo will also continue to carry the flag of Oviedismo beyond our borders through his other passion, tennis. He didn't miss the opportunity to take part in the ITF Nottingham Future Series international tournament.
Together with our supporters we will continue to write new chapters in Real Oviedo's history.
