Real Oviedo Head Coach Javier Calleja appeared in the Press Room today ahead of the fixture against CD Mirandés. Los Azules will be back at the Carlos Tartiere, and the Gaffer was quick to praise the importance of the Oviedistas in getting results. "Our fans never let us down. It's not a good kick-off time, but I am convinced that they will still come, as they have been doing so far. It's wonderful to play at home in front of our fans."

He continued by saying that "we have to focus on the next game. We want to win all matches and be up there. We want them all to feel important. We have to trust that whoever starts is going to do it just as well as those who have been."

Los Carbayones are looking to get another three points after not quite getting the win against Málaga. "I'm convinced that the more you attack, the more goals you'll score. Some people think it's about waiting for your moment, but my way of thinking is the opposite. It's an area we have to improve on. We have to look to be more clinical to score more goals."

Javi Calleja moved on to explain that "I don't believe in coincidences, and if Mirandés are second then that's because they are doing very good work. They've only let in three goals and that says a lot about them as a team. They defend very well and are very tough. It's very hard to create chances against them and you mustn't lose patience. It's tough to break the deadlock and that can happen. Other years Mirandés had more individuals and this year I can see that they are more solid. The main strength of Mirandés is that they are a team. They all know their roles."

The Coach concluded by saying that "I imagine that Mirandés will rotate and Homenchenko could come in. I imagine that he will be motivated, like the rest of his team. Homenchenko is a positional player, who gets around the pitch and strikes the ball well. If he plays then we will have to be aware of his strengths."
