One of the key figures in the Real Oviedo squad spoke this morning at one of the most important press conferences of the season. Dani Calvo addressed the media present at El Requexón before starting another training session ahead of the match against RCD Espanyol at the Carlos Tartiere. "We need to keep our feet on the ground. We don't have a big advantage. We need to have clear minds to face this very important game. The playoffs have been perfect so far. We need to finish it off this Sunday," explained the defender.

"It was the best match of my life, because of what we experienced. I've never experienced it as a player or a fan, it's something I'll remember all my life. Hopefully we can experience it in the First Division. Seeing so many people from Oviedo, regardless of age, speaks very well of the club's work and how involved the fans are. We appreciate the support of the people who are travelling to Barcelona, and we are going to give our all. Many people at the club can't even imagine what a promotion can be like," said Dani Calvo in relation to last Sunday and what is to come.

Discussing the secrets and keys to the team's success, the centre back stated, "the key has been staying calm. We came from behind, and teams that make it to the playoffs in sixth place tend to manage them better. We need to have personality, be daring, and be solid at the back."

"I expect them to start strongly. We must be calm, with the ball and without it. We can't let them get into the game too early. The longer we hold the advantage, the more difficult it will become for them. We must take care of the details and be ourselves," concluded Dani Calvo.
